The double ninth festival is also an old peoples festival. We should do some old things. I am prepared to make a sweet and delicious longjing tea for my grandpa who raised me.

I took longjing tea from the cabinet first, and grabbed a little tea with my hand and put it in the cup. Then pour half a cup of hot water into the cup, shake cup, and wait for the water to become a little yellowish, pour out the water and fill a cup of hot water. In the Tang Dynasty, the custom of climbing and appreciatingchrysanthemum became so widely spread as to be taken as the main activity on this occasion,and to these,there added other activities,such as going to the mountain fair,offering sacrifices at the ancestral graves,hunting outsides, worshipping the God of fortune, bounding girls feet. Nowadays, the Double Ninth Festival day is fixed as the Elderly Day，on which activities are held to show respect and love to the elderly people.
