Good morning, Professors, I am ***, ** years old. it is my honor to be here and get the opportunity for this interview. Now let me introduce myself briefly.

Firstly, for my academic background:

I graduated from the ******* University with a bachelor's degreein ** major. In 2019, I went to ****** University to study for a master's degree in ** major.During the master's studies, the research content was the recovery of valuable metals from *** wastewater by **.After graduation, I entered the ***** Institute and worked for the extraction of silicon dioxide from cyanide tailings.

Secondly, for my scientific research achievements:

During my master's studies, I published three SCI papers, one EI paper and one core Chinese paper, and published six papers in cooperation with other members. During this period, I received five academic scholarships. In June 2021, I attended the 9th National Hydrometallurgical Technology Exchange Conference and made a report.

Finally, why I am applying for a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. You know, when I first saw a paper on material preparation, I was fascinated by the beautiful pictures in the paper, which was the first reason why I was interested in this major. Later, during my reading of the literature, I was once again attracted by the preparation process of the material, its structure and the growth process of the crystals, which was the main reason.

With time going on, the more I experienced, the clearer I realized that I am really interested in materials science and engineering. Studying at ***** university can help me to meet top students and scholars, which I believe can bring my academic research to a high level.

If I am lucky enough to be accepted in ***** university, I will contribute my efforts and energy to my major.
